c. 1969 Ferrari 512S Brochure/Fold-Out Poster
This rare 1969 Ferrari 512S brochure is a unique piece, with very few race cars having dedicated brochures produced for them. Each successive foldout changes the display entirely.
Measuring about 12" x 9" when fully folded, the front cover displays the image of the 512S, while the rear lists technical specifications in Italian. When opened to the first fold, it becomes a 12" x 18" technical poster, also in Italian. When unfolded again, it becomes a red-backed 24" x 18" cutaway drawing poster, and when unfolded for the final time, it reveals the large 36" x 24" black-backed "bedroom wall" poster. Both illustrations are credited to Fabrizio Dell'Acqua.
The front and rear pages have some significant foxing, but remain presentable. There is a small (under 1/8") nick in the red background of the cover which reveals the white paper underneath, while a slightly larger (approx. 1/4") imperfection in the 24" x 18" cutaway poster visible toward the nose of the car (pictured in the gallery above).
