1993 Genova Auto Story Poster by Dexter Brown, Signed, Matted, and Framed
We’ve made no secret of our love for Dexter Brown’s explosive impressionist representations of all manner of automotive scenes, from idyll picnics to wheel-to-wheel racing. Any time any of his work is available, we do what we can to bring it in-house, and we were fortunate to find this unusual edition of the 1993 Genova (Genoa) Auto Story advertising poster.
The regular poster for the event - which was a celebration of automotive design and history, in the typically Italian fashion - featured a much darker rendering of Brown’s work, in addition to more graphic overlays that clouded the image of a Ferrari 375 MM Spider being driven in anger - but not here! We suspect our 13.5”x19.5” version was a collector’s edition that was either given away or sold at the event, perhaps at a signing by Brown. it is beautifully mounted in a 21.5”x27.5” frame, and ready for hanging! A great gift for the vintage Ferrari and design connoisseur.
